2026年7月14日—スターラックス航空は本日、STARLUX AIRSORAYAMA機がフェニックス・スカイハーバー国際空港（Phoenix Sky Harbor）に着陸し、記念すべき初の長距離商業運航を果たしました。フライトJX026には、伝説的な日本人アーティスト・空山基とのパートナーシップにより「空飛ぶマスターピース」として生まれ変わったAirbus A350-1000、新造機のSTARLUX AIRSORAYAMA SILVER（B-58553）が使用され、フェニックスはこの象徴的な機体を迎える北米初の就航地となりました。

AIRSORAYAMAのコンセプト
STARLUX AIRSORAYAMAプロジェクトは、AIRSORAYAMA GOLDとAIRSORAYAMA SILVERという2機のAirbus A350-1000で構成され、いずれも流麗な曲線と反射する金属的な質感という、空山基の作品を象徴する美学をまとっています。その芸術的ビジョンは外装にとどまりません。乗客は、特別にキュレーションされた機内アメニティ、限定マーチャンダイズコレクション、そしてカスタムデザインの機内コンテンツを通じて、完全に没入的な旅を体験します。各機はファーストクラス・スイート4室、ビジネスクラス40席、プレミアムエコノミー36席、エコノミークラス270席で構成されています。

Jul 14, 2026—STARLUX Airlines today marked a milestone as its STARLUX AIRSORAYAMA aircraft celebrated its inaugural long-haul commercial service, touching down at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Flight JX026 featured the new STARLUX AIRSORAYAMA SILVER (B-58553), an Airbus A350-1000 reimagined as a flying masterpiece through a partnership with legendary Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama — making Phoenix the first destination in North America to welcome the iconic aircraft.
The arrival was commemorated with a gate ceremony at Phoenix Sky Harbor, where STARLUX officials, Phoenix city leadership, and media gathered to witness the aircraft’s first on-ground appearance in the U.S.
“Today’s flight is the realization of a vision to bring art into the skies, and we couldn’t be prouder that Phoenix is where that vision lands in North America for the first time,” said Simon Liu, Chief Strategy Officer of STARLUX Airlines. “Through our collaboration with Sorayama-sensei, we have transformed this remarkable machine into something that asks passengers to feel something before they even board — a journey where the aircraft itself is the experience.”
The AIRSORAYAMA Concept
The STARLUX AIRSORAYAMA project comprises two Airbus A350-1000 aircraft — AIRSORAYAMA GOLD and AIRSORAYAMA SILVER — each featuring the signature aesthetic of Sorayama’s artworks, with fluid contours and reflective metallic textures. The artistic vision extends beyond the exterior: passengers experience a fully immersive journey through specially curated cabin amenities, exclusive merchandise collections, and custom-designed inflight content. Each aircraft is configured with four First Class suites, 40 Business Class seats, 36 Premium Economy seats, and 270 Economy Class seats.
A Milestone for Phoenix
As one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the United States and an emerging gateway for commerce and travel across Asia, Phoenix was a natural first choice for STARLUX’s North American debut. “Phoenix is proud to be the first North American destination to showcase this flying masterpiece,” said Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego. “This debut reflects our city’s continued growth as a global gateway and strengthens Phoenix’s cultural, tourism, and economic connections across Asia.”

To commemorate the AIRSORAYAMA aircraft’s North American debut, STARLUX held an inaugural ceremony at Phoenix Sky Harbor following the aircraft’s arrival. The event featured a commemorative aircraft model presentation to Mayor Gallego, guided cabin tours, and tarmac access for media photography.

Looking Ahead
Starting October 1, STARLUX Airlines will launch scheduled AIRSORAYAMA services to Phoenix, Tokyo, and Prague, further strengthening its global network and intercontinental connectivity.

14 de julio de 2026—STARLUX Airlines marcó hoy un hito cuando su aeronave STARLUX AIRSORAYAMA celebró su primer servicio comercial de largo recorrido, aterrizando en el Aeropuerto Internacional Phoenix Sky Harbor. El vuelo JX026 estrenó el nuevo STARLUX AIRSORAYAMA SILVER (B-58553), un Airbus A350-1000 reinventado como una obra maestra voladora mediante una colaboración con el legendario artista japonés Hajime Sorayama, convirtiendo a Phoenix en el primer destino de Norteamérica en recibir esta emblemática aeronave.
La llegada se conmemoró con una ceremonia en la puerta de embarque de Phoenix Sky Harbor, donde directivos de STARLUX, autoridades de la ciudad de Phoenix y medios de comunicación se reunieron para presenciar la primera aparición en tierra de la aeronave en Estados Unidos.
“El vuelo de hoy es la realización de una visión: llevar el arte a los cielos, y no podríamos estar más orgullosos de que Phoenix sea el lugar donde esa visión aterriza por primera vez en Norteamérica”, afirmó Simon Liu, Director de Estrategia (Chief Strategy Officer) de STARLUX Airlines. “A través de nuestra colaboración con Sorayama-sensei, hemos transformado esta extraordinaria máquina en algo que invita a los pasajeros a sentir algo antes incluso de embarcar; un viaje en el que la propia aeronave es la experiencia.”
El concepto AIRSORAYAMA
El proyecto STARLUX AIRSORAYAMA está compuesto por dos aeronaves Airbus A350-1000 — AIRSORAYAMA GOLD y AIRSORAYAMA SILVER —, cada una con la estética característica de las obras de Sorayama, de contornos fluidos y texturas metálicas reflectantes. La visión artística va más allá del exterior: los pasajeros viven un viaje totalmente inmersivo a través de amenidades de cabina especialmente seleccionadas, colecciones exclusivas de mercancía y contenido de entretenimiento a bordo diseñado a medida. Cada aeronave está configurada con cuatro suites de Primera Clase, 40 asientos de Clase Ejecutiva, 36 asientos de Economy Premium y 270 asientos de Clase Económica.
Un hito para Phoenix
